Old Town Gunfight

The New Mexico Gunfighters Association stages four outdoor melodramas each Sunday afternoon in Old Town (southeast side of plaza). These are really fun to photograph because the actors do not break character. We were able to get within a foot of their faces, and they stayed as if we were not there at all. I took one side of the street and my husband took the other. This enabled us to get both types of lighting and different backgrounds. If you are visiting Old Town, consider going on a Sunday afternoon to include this wonderful opportunity in your day. It will take just 15 minutes of your outing.
