Summer is around the corner, and so are flowers. Many people enjoy taking photos of flowers, but we’re not among them so much. Still, Albuquerque has some flowers that are regional. The Southwest is definitely more than brown dirt.

Albuquerque is no different than anywhere else when it comes to something like this:

But not everywhere will you find these:

We’re not big fans of the thorns on a cactus, but their flowers are exquisite:

Iconic hollyhocks and poppies look wonderful in front of an adobe wall.

Take advantage of the wonderful light from New Mexico’s many sunny days:
